Michael Kupke has extensive experience in aerospace and engineering, currently serving as Co-Direktor and Stellv. Direktor, Abteilungsleiter at Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V. since May 2025. Previously, Michael worked at Airbus from 2001 to 2012 as an R&T Project Manager and Senior Architect for the fuselage and vertical tailplane. Additionally, Michael was a Research Associate at Technical University Hamburg-Harburg from 1997 to 2001. Academic qualifications include a Diplom-Ingenieur and a Dr.-Ing. from Technical University Hamburg-Harburg, as well as a Geselle degree from Deutsche Post and military service in the German Army.
