Nicolas Darkow

Nicolas Darkow is currently the Head of Group for Satellite Subsystems at the German Space Agency, where they coordinate project strategy and budget planning for national satellite missions. Previously, they worked as a Space Program Strategist at the Executive Board for Space Research and Technology, focusing on developing strategies in various space technologies and initiating international collaborations. Nicolas also served as a Manager at the Quantum Computing Initiative, where they facilitated collaborations between startups and research institutions. They earned a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Hochschule Bremen and Universität Bremen, respectively, and possess a strong background in research and project management from their earlier roles at DLR.
