Nicolas Kruse is a specialist in experimental plants and modeling of mass and heat transport in fuel cells, electrolysis cells, and membrane systems. They are currently a Senior Researcher at the German Aerospace Center, conducting experimental research on the production of hydrogen and hydrogen carriers, while also serving as the Head of Development at Röckemann-Kruse GmbH, where they design and develop experimental setups. Previously, Nicolas was a Postdoc at Forschungszentrum Jülich, focusing on solid oxide fuel cell and electrolysis systems, and worked as a research assistant at TH Köln in membrane separation. They began their academic journey with an internship at Politechnika Gdańska, researching water vapor diffusion through expanded polystyrene plates, and are currently pursuing a PhD in engineering at Technische Universität Berlin.
