Robert Hilbrich

Robert Hilbrich is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and development within the mobility systems domain. Currently serving as Group Manager for Simulation of Mobility Systems at Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V. since September 2014, Robert leads a team focused on the development of the traffic simulation SUMO. In addition, Robert holds positions as CEO of co4e GmbH, where the development of SESAM - a web-based traffic and mobility simulation service - is underway, and as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Eclipse Foundation. Previous roles include Project Manager at Fraunhofer FOKUS and Research Manager at Fraunhofer FIRST, specializing in model-based systems engineering and avionics, respectively. Robert holds a Diplom in Informatik from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and a Dr.-Ing. in Informatik from Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg.
