Sigrid Helene Strand

Sigrid Helene Strand is an experienced professional in the fields of geomatics and software development, currently serving as a Research Assistant at NORKART AS since August 2021, focusing on mathematical photogrammetry and machine learning applications. Sigrid also holds a Student Assistant position at the NTNU Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, where support for students in geomatics courses is provided. Additionally, Sigrid is a triathlon coach for children at Trondheim Triatlonklubb and has gained valuable experience through internships at Geodata AS and Kartverket, where skills in GIS and photogrammetry were applied. Sigrid completed a Master of Science in Engineering & ICT, Geomatics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a Master's degree in Computer Science at Aalto University, building a solid educational foundation in these disciplines. Previous coaching roles and summer internships demonstrate Sigrid's diverse skill set and commitment to community engagement.
