Thomas Driebe served as the Head of Research & Exploration at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) after leading various projects in physics research under space conditions from 2009 to 2015. Prior to this role, Thomas was a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy from 2001 to 2009, focusing on infrared astronomy and stellar astrophysics. Thomas completed a Diplom in Physics at both the Technical University of Berlin and the Astrophysical Institute Potsdam.
