Co-founder And Member Of The Board Of Advisors

Admir Masic is an Associate Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology since September 2015, focusing on the structural and mechanical properties of biological materials, as well as the degradation and preservation of cultural artifacts and infrastructure. As a co-founder and board member of DMAT, Masic contributes to advancing innovations in construction materials. In addition, Masic founded and serves as Faculty Director of the MIT Refugee Action Hub, which provides educational opportunities for refugees. Prior experience includes serving as an Independent Group Leader at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces and founding Adamantio Science in Conservation, both emphasizing advancements in materials science and preservation. Masic holds a Doctor of Science and a Master of Science in Physical Chemistry from the Università degli Studi di Torino.
