Wayne Scott

Wayne Scott, PEng, is an experienced engineering professional with a comprehensive background in the mining and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Senior Project Engineer at DMC Mining Services since January 2022, Wayne previously held significant roles at TetraTech Engineering from May 2007 to January 2022, including Engineering Manager and Chief Electrical Engineer, where responsibilities included overseeing a multi-disciplinary team and establishing standards for the mining and minerals sector. Earlier experience includes serving as Paper Mill Superintendent and Pulp Mill Superintendent at Abitibi-Consolidated (Resolute) from February 2003 to May 2007, managing operations and ensuring production, safety, and budget performance. Wayne holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Lakehead University, earned between 1979 and 1985.
