Dan Murphy

Dan's follows in a long line of successful real estate investors starting with his grandfather. Dan is a CPM, a Real Estate Broker, and licensed general contractor utilizing all of these designations daily in his duties as the controlling owner, manager, leasing agent, and general contractor at his various properties.

His asset and property management duties have covered over twenty properties valued in excess of 150 million dollars. The portfolio has included over 500 apartment units, over 300,000 square feet of office and retail space and over 200,000 square feet of industrial space. Dan has found opportunities with "difficult" properties and demonstrated numerous successes in dealing with problem tenants, cannabis tenants, re-negotiating deals to push them over the finish line when all looked hopeless & solving severe physical issues with the property well under the projected budget.

Dan has turned around troubled properties, which later were sold at considerable gains.

Dan graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor degree in both history and mathematics with a minor in business and was honored as a collegiate All-American in rugby.

During his free time, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, enjoying all that the Colorado rocky mountains have to offer and spending time in his home woodworking shop.

Dan is the 2020 president of IREM Denver.
