DNA Construction is a Melbourne-based specialist builder with extensive experience in healthcare, aged-care, church and complex commercial environments. Established in 1996, DNA Construction has grown into a trusted healthcare and specialist construction partner across Victoria. Under the leadership of Chris Bato for nearly two decades - including ten years as sole director - DNA Construction has expanded its hospital and medical expertise while maintaining its long-standing commitment to quality, safety and trusted partnerships.

Our core expertise is healthcare construction. We have completed hundreds of renovations, extensions and upgrades across operating theatres, hospital wards, radiology practices, cardiac cath labs and imaging facilities including MRI, CT, X-ray and PET CT installations. A defining feature of our work is the ability to deliver projects within live medical environments - implementing strict noise, dust and infection-control protocols while maintaining clear communication with clinical staff and project teams. We are regularly involved in early-stage planning alongside clients, architects, engineers and project managers to ensure cost-effective, fit-for-purpose outcomes.
