Gavin Shih

Gavin Shih has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position at DNA Electronics (DNAe) as an Associate Scientist since October 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Research Associate at DNAe from May 2019 to October 2022.

In 2018, Gavin worked as a Private Tutor for Mo Prep, and from 2014 onwards, they were self-employed as a Private Tutor. In this role, they created customized curricula, prepared slides, and problem sets for students, and provided additional written material to enhance their understanding of concepts.

Gavin also gained research experience as a BS/MS Student Researcher in the Hao Lab at UCSD from June 2015 to June 2018. Additionally, they worked as an Instructional Assistant at the University of California San Diego from September to December 2016.

Gavin Shih pursued their education in the field of science, specializing in Biochemistry & Cell Biology. Gavin obtained their Bachelor of Science degree from UC San Diego, completing their undergraduate studies from 2012 to 2016. Gavin's academic journey continued as they enrolled at UC San Diego once again, this time for a Master of Science degree in Quantitative Biology. Gavin successfully completed their master's program from 2016 to 2018, furthering their knowledge and expertise in the field.
