Manuel Orosco

Manuel Orosco is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing and optimizing workflows in the biotechnology sector, currently serving as Sr. Manager at DNA Electronics (DNAe) since February 2015. In this role, Manuel has successfully reduced operational steps by 40% and per-kit costs by 85% through the implementation of design of experiments (DOE) and statistical process control (SPC), while effectively leading a team of nine and focusing on talent development. Previously, as Manager of Reagents, Manuel oversaw the development of next-generation sequencing reagents and streamlined processes by consolidating numerous reagents. In earlier roles as Senior Scientist II and at USC Alfred E. Mann Institute, Manuel's contributions included significant cost reductions and advancements in medical device technology. Manuel holds a PhD and M.S. in Chemistry from UC San Diego and a degree in Biochemistry and Biology from the University of California, Riverside.
