Nathan Sharp has experience as a Mechanical Engineer in DNA Electronics, a Mechanical/Product Design Engineer in BioGene Ltd where they developed a portable in-field and rapid multiplex detection qPCR system used for detection of highly contagious pandemic diseases such as Covid-19 and others, and as a Mechanical Design Co-op in Star Rapid where they enabled innovation through supporting product developers with rapid prototyping and low-volume manufacturing services. Nathan also worked as an Engineering Technician in Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Nathan Sharp received their Extended BTEC in Engineering from Cambridge Regional College in 2015. Nathan went on to earn a Bachelor of Science (BSc) (International) degree in Product Design Engineering from the University of Leeds between 2015 and 2019. During their undergraduate studies, Nathan also attended The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2017 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Product Design.
