DNA Energy makes commercial & industrial buildings grid intelligent. Our software-led control systems optimise distributed energy assets - HVAC, solar, batteries, heat pumps, EVs - turning them into flexible, grid-ready digital infrastructure.

Most energy platforms only manage ‘smart' devices via APIs. In reality, the majority of energy infrastructure is legacy equipment that wasn’t designed to participate in modern energy times.

DNA Energy solves this by digitising existing infrastructure. We connect to modern and legacy equipment, turning previously ‘dumb' assets into intelligent, controllable digital nodes. This creates a digital twin of a building’s energy system, allowing assets to be monitored & optimised in real time.

By transforming distributed assets into a connected network of digital nodes, we enable buildings to operate more efficiently while also participating in grid services such as demand response and virtual power plants. Existing infrastructure can deliver significantly greater economic & operational value without expensive upgrades.

Our customers include energy retailers launching VPP/DER programs, OEMs and technology providers integrating energy hardware into broader platforms, solar EPCs and electrical contractors deploying new energy infrastructure, and commercial asset owners seeking to reduce costs and improve building energy performance.

DNA Energy provides a unified platform that integrates multiple assets regardless of asset type or manufacturer. Customers gain automated energy optimisation, lower operating costs, improved asset visibility & maintenance and new revenue opportunities.

As energy systems decentralise and electrification accelerates, hundreds of millions of distributed assets must be orchestrated to maintain reliable and efficient grids. DNA Energy enables this transition by turning existing infrastructure into a digitally connected energy network that responds intelligently to both building and grid needs in real time.
