Lucy Day

Lucy Day is a skilled medical writer currently working at dna Communications since July 2022. Previously, Lucy served as a Biomedical Technical Editor at Henry Stewart Talks from September 2020 to July 2022 and also held the position of Biomedical Technical Editor during a simultaneous role at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine while pursuing a Master’s degree. As a Research Technician at the University of Birmingham from July 2019 to September 2020, Lucy managed multiple research projects utilizing Daphnia magna to study the effects of environmental chemicals on genome structure and gene expression. Earlier experience includes a support worker role at Dalesview Partnership Limited from July 2016 to September 2018, providing care and support services to young adults with profound disabilities. Lucy earned an MSc in Control of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Birmingham, supplemented by an exchange year at the University of Adelaide focused on Health and Medical Sciences.
