Joaquin (Ximo) Catala

Joaquin (Ximo) Catala has been working in the 3D game assets industry since 2013. Their first role was as a 3D Environment Artist for their own company, Ximo Catala - 3D Game Assets. In 2015, they moved to CMUNE as a 3D Environment Artist and then to EightPixelsSquare in the same role in 2013. In 2020, they took on a 3D Artist role at DNABLOCK and a 3D Generalist role at DNABlock in 2019. From 2007 to 2009, they worked at Kandor Graphics as a Previs & Layout 3D Scenography Co-Director and Photography Co-Director | CG Scenography Director. In 1999, they were a Senior/Lead environment artist. Animator at Eurocom Entertainment Software and in 1997 they were a Character Animator/ Rigging / Lightning at Anibyte. In 1995, they were a 3D Generalist at 3DE3 S.L.

Joaquin (Ximo) Catala attended Instituto Bachillerato Mistala from 1984 to 1991. Joaquin (Ximo) then attended Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) in 1993, studying 3D Computer Graphics. Joaquin (Ximo) has no additional certifications.
