John Wilson is an experienced bioinformatician and sequencing enthusiast who currently serves as the VP, Head of EMEA for DNAnexus. They founded Wilson Precision Health Solutions AB, focusing on bioinformatics leadership consulting, and previously worked at Illumina in various roles, including Bioinformatics Enablement Lead and Manager of Informatics Sales Specialists EMEA. John completed a Bachelor's and Master's degree at the University of East Anglia, followed by a PhD at The University of Sheffield. They were also a Postdoctoral Researcher in Bioinformatics at the Karolinska Institutet from 2011 to 2013.
