Rashmita Sahoo

Rashmita Sahoo has extensive work experience in the field of assay development and product development. Rashmita is currently working at DNANUDGE as the VP of Assay Development since October 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Head of Assay and Product Development at DNANUDGE from January 2019 to October 2022.

Before joining DNANUDGE, Rashmita Sahoo held various positions at DNA Electronics. Rashmita served as the Director of Scientific Development from February 2017 to December 2018, Principal Scientist from August 2015 to February 2017, and Senior Molecular Biologist from January 2012 to August 2015.

Their previous work experience also includes a role as a Higher Scientific Officer at The Institute of Cancer Research from October 2011 to January 2012.

Earlier in their career, Rashmita Sahoo worked at HCG Hospitals, Bangalore as the Principal Scientist, Head of R&D, and Contract Research from August 2008 to April 2011. Rashmita also worked at Triesta Sciences as a Sr. Scientist from August 2006 to August 2008, and at Manipal Acunova as a Senior Scientist from July 2005 to August 2006.

Rashmita Sahoo has a Ph.D in Biotechnology from CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology. Rashmita also holds a Post Doc degree in Molecular Biology/Cell-Biology from the University of Louisville. Rashmita has completed an Executive MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University.
