Brian Anderson

Brian Anderson has worked in the biotechnology industry since 1997. Brian began their career at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics as an Emergency Services Coordinator- Program Assistant II, where they were responsible for communication liaison for the level one trauma center emergency department. In 2000, they began working at Third Wave as a DNA Synthesis Operator, creating large and small-scale synthetic DNA using Applied Biosystems and AP Biotech (GE Healthcare) DNA synthesizers. In 2004, they joined Novagen as a Technical Service Scientist, providing technical and formal support to EMD's large customer base in pharma, industry, and academia. Finally, in 2005, they began working at DNASTAR as Manager of Sales and Technical Sales Scientist. As Technical Sales Scientist, they were responsible for the sales and support of DNASTAR's software portfolio for nucleic/protein sequence analysis, sanger, next/third-generation sequencing, microarray, ChIPSeq, RNASeq, miRNA technologies, and Genome Assembly services. Brian also provided technical support for DNASTAR's large international commercial, government, and academic user base.

Brian Anderson obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Bacteriology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1995 and 2001. Brian then went on to obtain a Master of Science (M.S) in Bacteriology from the same university between 2002 and 2004. In 2019, they obtained the Foundations certification from Sandler Training and in 1994, they obtained the Emergency Medical Technician-Retired certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
