Bert Jansen

Bert Jansen is an experienced aviation professional with a robust background in operations and logistics within the cargo sector. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at dnata since October 2025, Bert has also been actively involved as an Aeronautical Knowledge for Safety trainer at AviAssist Foundation since January 2024. Previous roles include Logistic Advisor | Consultant at Avi Air, Cargo Security Trainer at the Nationaal Trainingscentrum Burgerluchtvaart (NTCB), and various leadership positions within KLM Cargo and Air France KLM Cargo, focusing on operational integrity and business development across multiple global markets. Bert holds a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Aviation Technical from the early 2000s, further complemented by foundational aviation technical education from 1972 to 1976.
