Robert Smithson is an accomplished culinary professional with extensive experience in the hospitality and catering industry. Currently serving as Head Of Culinary and General Manager Culinary at dnata since 2017, Robert brings a wealth of expertise in menu development and culinary management. Previously, Robert worked as Senior Corporate Chef for Alpha Flight Services from 2006 to October 2017, collaborating with renowned chefs to create award-winning menus for prestigious airlines, including Emirates and Etihad. Earlier roles include Executive Chef positions at Southern Cross University/Invercauld House (2004-2006) and Shaws Bay Hotel (2001-2004). Robert is furthering professional development through the Emirates Group Leadership Programme at INSEAD and holds certificates in Frontline Management and Commercial Cookery.
