Thomas Yu

Thomas Yu serves as the Divisional Vice President for Cargo UAE at dnata since October 2025, focusing on strategic growth and operational excellence within the UAE Cargo business across DXB and DWC airports. Prior to this role, Thomas was the Sr. Director of Global Hub Operations and Product Development at Cainiao Group, where responsibilities included building the overseas team and leading global airfreight hub operations. Previous positions at dnata involved head commercial roles in International Airport Operations, while earlier experience at Cathay Cargo Terminal included management in commercial and planning functions. Thomas began a career in the logistics sector at Hactl, where extensive experience in sales, commercial development, and service improvement initiatives was gained. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Management from The University of Hong Kong and a Master's Degree in International Shipping and Logistics Management from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
