Ibrahim Umar is a dedicated technology professional with extensive experience in DevOps, scientific programming, and high-performance computing. Currently serving as a DevOps Engineer at DNB since October 2021, Ibrahim has previously held positions as a Scientific Programmer at the Institute of Marine Research (IMR) in Norway and a PhD Fellow at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. Ibrahim also contributed as a Visiting PhD Student at Rutgers University and as a Technical Manager at the Parallel and Distributed Computing Centre of Universiti Sains Malaysia, overseeing IT operations and managing the deployment of HPC clusters. Additionally, experience includes roles as a Research Officer and a System Developer at the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from UiT The Arctic University of Norway and a Master's in Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
