Øystein Garnes

Øystein Garnes currently serves as the Head of Department for Customer Value and Saving at DNB, overseeing the development of Personal Finance Management services and account saving solutions for mobile and online banking. Øystein has held various leadership roles at DNB, including Head of Department for Payments and PFM, and Banking tech for mobile and online banking, as well as positions as Senior Project Manager and Project Manager. Prior experience includes project management at DNV GL, focusing on enterprise software development projects, and quality assurance responsibilities. Øystein also has a background in IT consulting from Siemens and support roles at Forsvaret and NTNU. Øystein holds a Master of Technology in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a Serviceelektroniker degree from Sogn VGS.
