Vetle Toreid

Vetle Toreid is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles at DNB from April 2018 to the present, including Senior Expert Lead, Acting Head of Security Governance & Architecture, Service Owner for Shared Security Services, and Head of IT Security Operations section. Prior experience includes heading the IT section at the Norwegian Police Security Service from April 2014 to March 2018, and serving as a Senior Advisor for Open Source Intelligence at Politiets sikkerhetstjeneste from September 2011 to March 2014. Vetle gained early experience in information security as a Senior Advisor at the Norwegian Police (PDMT) and as a Senior Engineer at the Norwegian National Security Authority - NorCERT. Education includes a Master’s degree in Computer and Networks Security from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), completed in 2007.
