John Ashton

John Ashton has a long and varied career in the financial services industry. John began their career in 1985 as the Manager of Capital Markets Analysis at the FHLB of San Francisco. In 1988, they moved to Continental Savings Bank as the Chief Financial Officer. In 1992, they joined Groundwater Technology Italia as the Director of Finance and Administration, where they focused on cleaning groundwater pollution caused primarily by petroleum products. In 1995, they founded Learn iT!, a computer school in downtown San Francisco, CA, where they focused on Internet and MS Office skills. In 2002, they joined Ria Financial as the CIO and in 1997, they became President of dntg.

John Ashton attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 1976 to 1980, where they earned a BA in Economics.
