Abdullah al Hasib

Abdullah Al Hasib, PhD, is an accomplished technical lead with extensive experience in software engineering and research in energy-efficient computing. Currently serving as a Technical Lead at DNV since November 2024, Abdullah develops technical strategies and spearheads project planning and implementation. Previously held roles include Senior Software Engineer/Technical Lead at Kratos Defense and Security Solutions, where responsibilities involved designing microservice-based solutions, and Software Engineer III at PGS, focusing on seismic data processing automation. Abdullah's career also includes positions at Appear TV AS, Recore Systems, NTNU as a PhD Research Fellow, and as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer at the Islamic University of Technology. Abdullah holds a PhD in Energy Efficient Computing from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and multiple Master's degrees in Security and Mobile Computing.
