Abin Thomas is an experienced product manager and structural engineer with over a decade of experience at DNV, where key roles include managing the Sesam software modules for fixed structure design and serving as product owner for Sesam Insight, a cloud-based software tool. Prior to DNV, Abin held positions as a Senior Structural Design Engineer and Construction Engineer at McDermott International Inc., focusing on offshore platform design and construction, and as a Structural Engineer at Sobha Developers Ltd. Academically, Abin is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration and Management at Golden Gate University and holds multiple degrees in engineering and data science, including an MTech from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, and an MEng in Structural Engineering from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences.
