Bertrand Deck

Bertrand Deck is an experienced professional with a robust background in IT management and vendor relations. Currently serving as Global Category Lead – Strategic IT and Global Vendor Manager at DNV since June 2022, Bertrand previously held the position of Head of Supplier Management at Wilhelmsen Ships Service from August 2020 to June 2022, where responsibilities included defining IT sourcing strategies and managing vendor contracts and performance. With a long tenure at Wilhelmsen IT Services AS from 2005 to 2020, Bertrand's roles encompassed IT Director Application Services, overseeing global operations for over 300 applications, and Director Global IT Services, focusing on the delivery of IT services. Earlier positions include Head of IT Operations in Europe at Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA and various roles at Hydro IS Partner, Hydro Data, Michelin Nordic, and the University Pierre Mendès France, culminating in expertise in IT infrastructure, vendor management, and application services.
