Christopher Harrison has extensive experience in the engineering and renewables sectors, currently serving in Renewables Certification at DNV since July 2018. Prior roles include Visiting Professor in Composite Materials and Aerostructures at the University of the West of England from October 2018 to October 2021, Senior Engineer for Composite Materials at Atkins from April 2012 to July 2018, and Senior Blade Engineer at Nordic Windpower from October 2010 to April 2012. Earlier experience includes positions as Composite Engineer at Vestas Technology UK Ltd from May 2008 to October 2010 and Design Engineer at AgustaWestland from October 1999 to April 2008. Christopher Harrison holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a BEng in Aeronautical Engineering and German, both obtained from the University of Bath.
