Daniel Monteiro is a Chartered EC&I Engineer with extensive experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, currently serving as a Principal Engineer at DNV. They began their career as an Engineer Intern at Qenos and later gained significant experience at London Marine Consultants, where they led critical projects for the Teekay Bualuang and GAZA FSO vessels. After progressing to a Senior E&I Engineer at DNV, Daniel led multi-disciplinary teams and managed key projects, including cybersecurity assessments for the Spectrum of the Seas cruise liner. Prior to their current role, they worked at Amazon Web Services, leading project delivery for enterprise data centers across EMEA. Daniel holds dual degrees in Engineering and Science from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Physics from the University of Nottingham.
