David Craig is a chartered chemical engineer with over 40 years of experience in process design and process safety across various industries, including chemical manufacture, petrochemicals, and oil and gas. They have held management roles for over 25 years, notably serving as a QHSE Manager on a top-tier COMAH site in the UK. Currently, David serves as a Senior Principal Consultant at DNV and has previously worked in technical director roles at Wood and WSP. With a strong focus on hazard identification, functional safety, and risk management, they have facilitated numerous safety workshops and shaped Safety Management Systems for several companies. David holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and an MSc in Process Safety and Loss Prevention from The University of Sheffield.
