Friederike Marklein

Friederike Marklein is a Senior Principal Advisor in Group Accounting at DNV, where they lead the Group Accounting team in Hamburg. Prior to their current role, Friederike served as the Head of Group Accounting and Interim Head of Taxes at GL Group, as well as Financial Director for Accounting, Reporting, and Tax at SPORTFIVE. They held an interim position as the Head of Finance at Germanischer Lloyd in Shanghai for a brief period in 2013. Friederike's career began at Dr. W. Schlage & Co., where they worked as Prüfungsleiterin and Steuerberaterin from 1998 to 2006. They have also completed a degree in Leading the Digital Transformation from INSEAD in 2019 and are a registered Steuerberaterin with the Steuerberaterkammer Hamburg.
