Gary Tomlin

Gary Tomlin serves as the Vice President of Laboratories & Testing at DNV since January 2021. Previously, Tomlin held the title of Vice President, UK Safety and Risk at DNV GL - Oil & Gas from January 2013 to November 2021, and worked as a Principal Consultant at GL Noble Denton from July 2008 to November 2021. Prior to those roles, Tomlin was the Central Engineering Manager at Calor from 1997 to 2007. Tomlin's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Fire & Explosion Engineering as well as a Post Graduate Diploma (PGDip) in the same field from the University of Leeds, a Post Graduate Certificate (PGCert) in Fire Investigation from Anglia Ruskin University, and a Master of Science (MSc) in Gas Engineering from The University of Salford.
