Hamid Gerami has extensive experience in renewable energy engineering and finance, currently serving as a Professional Engineer and CFA Candidate at DNV since October 2016. In this role, Hamid collaborates with a global engineering team on the analysis and review of designs, construction monitoring, and evaluation of wind and solar systems' failures for projects across multiple regions, including North America, Latin America, the Middle East, and more. Prior to DNV, Hamid gained valuable experience as a Structural Engineering Intern at Queen's University, leading a team to develop composite structures for the Weenusk First Nation community. Hamid also earned a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Manitoba, where engagement as a graduate student included designing composite structures adhering to engineering standards and serving as a teaching assistant in various structural engineering courses.
