Howard Levinsky

Senior Principal Specialist Combustion Processes

Howard Levinsky is currently a Senior Principal Specialist in Combustion Processes at DNV GL, where they analyze the effects of fuel composition on combustion processes and explore new industrial methods. They have been a Professor at the University of Groningen since 1998, chairing the Laboratory for High Temperature Energy Conversion Processes. Previously, Levinsky served as a Principal Scientist at N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie from 1985 to 2009, where they led a combustion research program focusing on the physical and chemical aspects of combustion equipment. Levinsky earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from New York University between 1971 and 1982.
