John Masiello

John Masiello is an accomplished professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in management and program development. Beginning as a Manager at RISE Engineering from 1980 to 1990, John led a team of energy auditors and spearheaded innovative conservation programs. From 1991 to 2010, John served as Director of DSM & Alternative Energy Strategy at Progress Energy Florida, overseeing significant demand-side management initiatives and alternative energy strategies. Currently, John is the Vice President of Program Development & Implementation at DNV GL, where responsibilities include directing business development for energy management consulting. John also briefly held the position of President/CEO at Real Energy Strategies Group. Educational credentials include an MBA from the University of Central Florida with a 3.9 GPA, along with CEM, CEA, and CSDP certifications, and a Certificate in Digital Technology from INSEAD.
