Jun Liu has extensive experience in engineering and academia, serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Oslo from August 2012 to October 2013, where supervision of graduates in Solid Mechanics took place within the Department of Mathematics. Jun Liu worked at DNV from January 2008 to March 2022, initially as Principal Engineer and later as Group Leader in Operations Technology. Since April 2022, Jun Liu has held the position of Team Leader for Pipeline Operations in Norway at DNV. Prior to this, Jun Liu was a Research Scientist at SINTEF from 2003 to 2007. Jun Liu earned a Ph.D. in Fracture Mechanics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) between 1999 and 2004.
