Lars Brubak is a Discipline Lead for Structures at Maritime Technical Advisory, specializing in technical consultancy for commercial and R&D projects related to ship and offshore structures. They possess core competence in strength assessments and analysis of accidental scenarios, supported by extensive knowledge in Finite Element tools and the DNV Rules. Lars has held roles as a Senior/Principal Engineer and Project Engineer at DNV, and served as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Structural Mechanics Division at the Universitetet i Oslo from 2010 to 2014, following their time as a PhD Student/Research Fellow. Lars is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree at the Universitetet i Oslo.
