Leo Lagendijk

Principal Consultant

Leo Lagendijk serves as a Principal Consultant at DNV since November 2007, specializing in electromagnetic fields, health regulations, electromagnetic compatibility, and electrical safety in public lighting. Additionally, Leo has been the Secretary to the Scientific Forum EMF since August 2008, facilitating collaboration among various organizations to provide insights on scientific advancements related to electromagnetic fields and health. In a leadership role, Leo has chaired the EMF Committee of the National Electrotechnical Committee since November 2012, overseeing the development of electrotechnical standards for the Netherlands in international contexts. Furthermore, Leo manages post-academic courses on electromagnetic fields and health with PAO Techniek and previously held positions at KPN and Philips Research, focusing on EMF policies and electromagnetic compatibility. Leo's academic background includes studies at De Haagse Hogeschool/The Hague University of Applied Sciences, DLW, and HTS Dordrecht.
