Mark Marley

Mark Marley, PhD, PE, FASME, has extensive experience in engineering and project management, having held various key positions in renowned organizations. From January 1982 to December 1992, Mark served as Principal Engineer and later Senior Principal Specialist at Det Norske Veritas. After a role as Group Leader at Offshore Design from January 1993 to March 1998, Mark joined DNV GL Oil & Gas in October 2013 as Project Manager for the Ichthys Offshore project until June 2016. Mark's early career includes a position as Structural Engineer with the US National Park Service from March 1975 to January 1980. Mark holds a BSCE from Iowa State University, an MS in Structural Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, a PhD in Marine Structures from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and completed DNV TopTech Technology & Innovation at the University of California, Berkeley.
