Markus Kochmann

Markus Kochmann is the Head of Department for Offshore Substations at DNV, where they focus on project management and global safety aspects. With nearly a decade of experience in the certification of offshore substations and wind turbines, Markus previously served as the Head of Section and Project Manager within DNV. Their early career included a role as an Analyst and Inspector at Germanischer Lloyd Industrial Services GmbH, where they specialized in the analysis of drive train dynamics and the certification of wind turbine components. Markus holds a Master of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from De Montfort University and a Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from Fachhochschule Bielefeld.
