Mette Eilertsen

Mette Eilertsen is the Discipline Lead for Biodiversity at DNV Aquaculture & Marine Biodiversity Nordics within Åkerblå Group AS. After many years at Rådgivende Biologer AS, where they held various positions including Marine Biologist, Department Head, and Deputy Managing Director, Mette transitioned to their current role in 2025. With 18 years of experience in marine biology and project management, Mette has focused on marine nature mapping, environmental surveys, and impact assessments, particularly related to aquaculture. They have also contributed to inter-municipal planning for marine areas and participated in expert committees for biodiversity assessments. Currently, Mette is pursuing a Master's degree in Marine Biodiversity at the University of Bergen.
