Michael Amon

Michael Amon has extensive experience in maritime education and quality management, currently serving as the Quality Management Representative (QMR) at the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific since November 1999. Responsibilities include planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for Maritime Higher Education. Additionally, Michael Amon contributes as an IMLA Committee Member for the International Maritime Lecturers Association since August 2022 and works as a Subcontract Trainer for DNV since July 2013. Previous roles include serving as the MIS Supervisor at the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific from November 1998 to August 2005, overseeing information systems development and web application projects. Michael Amon's educational background includes attending Southampton Solent University from 2009 to 2010.
