Michael Dodd

Michael Dodd currently serves as Business Director for Power Grids UK&I and Global Account Director at DNV, a position held since October 2015, where responsibilities include guiding energy market participants through the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition. Prior roles at DNV include Director and Market Area Manager for the UK & Ireland, overseeing the strategic direction and financial performance of the Energy business, and Head of Section for Networks, Markets & Strategy, focusing on providing techno-economic advice amidst evolving energy markets. Earlier experience includes serving as GB Regulation Manager at ESB International, Senior Analyst in transmission policy at Ofgem, and Senior Analyst at the Water Industry Commission for Scotland. Michael Dodd holds a BA (Hons) in Business Law and Business Studies from the University of Stirling, earned between 1997 and 2001.
