Michael Holtmann is an experienced engineering professional with a background in naval architecture and industrial engineering. A graduate of Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg with a Diplom-Ingenieur in Schiffbau, Michael began a career at HDW Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft GmbH as a Project Engineer from 2000 to 2004. Subsequently, Michael joined DNV GL in 2005, where leadership roles included Teamleader of Vibration, Noise and Shock until June 2020. Currently, Michael serves as the Head of Section Structures at DNV. Additionally, Michael holds a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) in Wirtschaftsingenieur from Hamburger Fern-Hochschule, obtained between 2003 and 2005.
