Nermina Ek is an Investment Director at DNV, focusing on AI and energy transition ventures. Previously, Nermina held key financial roles including CFO and Business Developer at Eyasys AS and Chief Investment Officer at TechBridge Invest, where they significantly contributed to the growth of technology start-ups in East Africa. Nermina also co-founded Sunami Solar Ltd, a solar-tech company serving off-grid populations in Kenya and Uganda. In addition, Nermina is actively involved as Chair of the Board of Directors at Smartwatt and serves as a Board Observer for both Leap and ScoutDI. Nermina earned a Master’s degree in Banking & Finance from Kingston University.
