Nigel Lim

Nigel Lim is a Principal Subsea and Pipeline Engineer currently engaged with NHJL Consulting and CO2CRC, providing training on CO2 transport with pipelines. Previously, Nigel held various engineering roles at companies such as Genesis Energies and Santos Ltd, where they contributed to significant projects in hydrocarbon and energy transition developments across Australia, Malaysia, the Middle East, and the North Sea. With a strong technical foundation in subsea and pipeline engineering, Nigel has been instrumental in leading feasibility studies and driving improvements in carbon capture and storage systems. They earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with First Class Honours from Curtin University and have a background in oil and gas engineering from The University of Western Australia.
