Olaf Doerk

Olaf Doerk is the Head of Advisory Center Hamburg at DNV, where they oversee a comprehensive range of maritime advisory services, including a team located in Dubai. Previously, Olaf served as the Head of Department Structures and Head of Maritime Advisory West Europe at DNV. Their career began as a Subject Matter Expert at TÜV NORD Systems GmbH & Co. KG, specializing in strength, fatigue, and fracture mechanics for nuclear power plants and pressure vessels. Olaf also held roles as a Team Leader and Project Manager at Germanischer Lloyd AG, focusing on structural engineering analyses. They earned a Doctor's Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Hamburg University of Technology and a Diploma in Naval Architecture from the University of Hamburg.
