Paul Murray is the Head of Upstream Technical Safety for DNV in Aberdeen, where they manage a team of Technical Safety Consultants supporting North Sea operations and globally. With over 15 years of experience in Technical Safety consultancy, Paul has focused on risk-based decision-making, ALARP demonstration, reliability, and Quantitative Risk Assessment. They have contributed to various projects throughout the lifecycle of offshore installations, from concept design to decommissioning, and are currently engaged in software development and innovative risk analysis methodologies. Paul holds a Master’s degree in Operational Research with Distinction from The University of Edinburgh and a First-Class Honours degree in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Aberdeen.
